Yilin Wang joined UNRISD in June 2012 to assist Project Coordinator, Shufang Zhang, and Research Consultant, Harald Braumann on the “Migration and Health in China” Project.
Yilin is currently undertaking a Master degree in International Relations at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C., United States. Her research interests include Chinese domestic issues, focusing on poverty reduction, civil society construction and rural education development. She also explores her interest in Chinese foreign policy, especially on China’s behaviour in international organizations.
Prior to joining UNRISD, Yilin worked as an intern in varying organizations such as Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy, Oxfam Hong Kong (Beijing Office) and The Microcarbon Foundation when she studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
