Former Collaborating Researcher
Ray Anere collaborated with UNRISD for the project Ethnic Structure, Inequality and Governance of the Public Sector, 2002-2005. At the time of this collaboration, Ray was employed by the University of Papua New Guinea from 1980 to 2003 as Teaching Fellow/Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Political Science. He was Chairman of Political Science from 1995 to 2002.
His most recent book is on Elections in PNG 1964 to 2002. He has done various consultancies within Papua New Guinea and overseas including Security in Melanesia for the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat in 2001.
