Rewa is a research intern for the Social Policy and Development Programme. She is currently finishing a Master of Arts in European and Eurasian Studies at the School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, Canada. She has worked as a research assistant at the GAP Institute in Kosovo working on the limitations to reforming public healthcare, and then went on to intern at the Carnegie Endowment Middle East Centre in Beirut working on the Syria crisis. As the 2013 Director of Civil Society for the G8 Research Group at the University of Toronto, she has contributed to the Civil Society Report leading to the G8 Summit in Enniskillen. Her research interests are related to social policies in post-conflict settings as well as political risk assessment, and in that regard she joined UNRISD in May 2013 to assist Ilcheong Yi in the When Security Meets Social Security project.
