Deborah Reynolds joined UNRISD in October 2011 to assist Research Coordinator Katja Hujo on the Social Policy and Development Programme.
Deborah holds a Masters in Sociological Research from the University of Essex, United Kingdom and a bachelor’s degree in Italian and French from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. Her Masters dissertation explored people’s responses to living in a community contaminated with toxic waste in the province of Naples, Italy.
Prior to joining UNRISD, Deborah worked as events and membership coordinator at a London charity, Toynbee Hall. She has also worked on projects with women in prostitution in Naples, Italy.
