Sherelle Wilson joined UNRISD in September 2012 to assist Jenifer Freedman and Rheem Al-Adhami with the current Communication Strategy. Prior to this, she was studying for a Masters degree in Poverty and Development at the Institute of Development Studies, Sussex. Her thesis was on The Effectiveness of Conditional Cash Transfers on the reduction of Child Labour with a focus on Brazil and the United Republic of Tanzania.
Consequently, Sherelle’s research interests include Social Policy, Social Protection and Child Protection. She has also gained work experience in Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and the UK in Fundraising, Communications, Project Management and Research.
