Suroor Alikhan

Associate Editor
Suroor AlikhanSuroor Alikhan joined UNRISD in September 2002 as Associate Editor. Prior to this, she was with the UN Non-Governmental Liaison Service (NGLS) where she worked on the publication of a wide range of information materials on economic and social development issues.

In the early 1980s, Suroor also worked with the publications department of the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) in her home town of Hyderabad in India.

Suroor has a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from the University of Leicester.
