Former Research Analyst
Imogen joined UNRISD in August 2010 to work with Katja Hujo on the Social Policy and Development Programme.
Prior to joining UNRISD, Imogen worked as a programme officer and consultant at the International Labour Organization in Geneva. Imogen has spent time in the Philippines, working at the ILO on issues relating to human trafficking and in Thailand, in the field of migration and labour rights in the Mekong subregion. Imogen has also worked as a researcher on employment and social affairs in the European Parliament.
In addition to social protection, her research interests include migration policy, labour rights and their position within the spectrum of human rights and the politics of power.
Imogen has an MSc in Comparative Politics (Latin America) from the London School of Economics and a BA in European Studies from King’s College London & the London School of Economics. She also studied at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) in Paris.
