Former Intern (Research)
Kidjie joined UNRISD in July 2014 to assist with the project on Social Policy and Migration. He is currently pursuing a Master in Public Policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University Singapore specializing in Social Policy. He is doing a research to understand the role of liberalising unskilled labour migration on promoting equitable economic development within the ASEAN region as a capstone project. He also holds a B. A. in Public Administration (cum laude) from the University of the Philippines and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Management of Development Projects from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology – Lausanne (EPFL).
Prior to pursuing his master’s degree, he worked for five years with the Development Academy of the Philippines developing and implementing research and consulting projects on good governance, corruption prevention and public service delivery. He also worked for the Development Executive Group as a research assistant tracking international development projects of the UN System and EuropeAid.
