Former Collaborating Researcher
Kathrin Bimesdörfer collaborated with UNRISD on the project Social Dimensions of Green Economy and Sustainable Development (2011-2012). She spoke at the UNRISD conference on this issue held in October 2011 and authored the think piece “Driving Green Jobs through Rural Renewable Energy Systems”.
At the time of her collaboration with UNRISD, she was a consultant in the field of energy and sustainability policies at IFOK in Berlin. She has worked for the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) in China and Laos, and has a M.A. in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, United States.
