Ling Ping Chen
Former Collaborating Researcher
Ling Ping Chen collaborated with UNRISD for the project Poverty Reduction and Policy Regimes (2007-2010), for which she wrote a paper on Organized Interests, Development Strategies and Social Policy. At the time of her collaboration, she was Assistant Professor at the Department of Social Policy and Social Work, National Chi Nan University, Taiwan. Her areas of teaching include globalization and issues of labour migration, social casework, labour issues and regulation. Her publications include Globalisation Inscribed in Their Lives: The Case of Overseas Female Filipino Workers, Overseas Female Filipino Workers: The Revolving Door of Migrant Labour, Home Coming or Punctuated Exile? Filipinas Working Abroad.
Ling Ping Chen holds a PhD degree from Cambridge University.
