Yu Cheng

Collaborating Researcher

Yu Cheng was part of the research team for the project Migration and Health in China. At the time of her collaboration, she was Director of and Associate Professor at the Center for Medical Anthropology and Behavioral Health at Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, China. Simultanously, she was Associate Director of the Center for Migrant Health Policy and Associate Professor at the Anthropology Department at the same university.

Yu Cheng has a PhD from Sun Yat-sen University in Anthropology and has conducted postdoctoral research in Public Health at Yale University, New Haven, United States. She has published on a range of issues related to health and migration and migrants' health, including sex workers health behaviour, sexually transmittable diseases and reproductive health.
