Daiana Marino

Former Research Analyst

Daiana joined UNRISD in March 2010 to work in the Office of the Director.
Prior to joining UNRISD, Daiana worked for UNDP Yemen in the Poverty Alleviation and Reduction Team and for UNDP Egypt as Coordination Officer and Aid Effectiveness Specialist.

She holds a graduate degree in comparative literatures from Universita' Ca' Foscari di Venezia, Italy, and an M.A. in International Relations (Middle East) from the University of Durham, United Kingdom.

Her research interests included Islamic resurgency in the ex-URSS Central Asian republics and Islamic philosophy.
