Marco Giugni

Collaborating Researcher

At the time of collaboration, Marco Giugni was professor for political science at the University of Geneva. He coordinated the project on Protecting Vulnerable Urban Groups in Contentious Times: The Role of SSE.
He was also part of the research team of the project “Global Civil Social Movements: Dynamics in International Campaigns and National Implementation”. For this project, he wrote a paper with the title Civil Society and Transnational Movements: Forms of Contention and Emergent Common Values. Marco Giugni is co-author of “How Social Movements Matter” (1999) published at University of Minnesota Press.
