Maudo Jallow

Former Intern (Research)

Maudo joined UNRISD as a Research Intern in September 2017. He assists with several projects in the Social Policy and Development Programme. This includes wrapping up a research project on the Politics of Domestic Resource Mobilization for Social Development, communication and research activities related to UNRISD 2016 Flagship Report, and assisting the development of forthcoming research projects.
Maudo is interested in domestic resource mobilization, structural transformation and social policy. His research focuses around these areas and how they are interlinked, especially in the case of Sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to joining UNRISD, Maudo worked for the LSE Africa Summit, UNDP Uganda - Strategy and Policy Unit, Alliance 54 and Press TV UK. He holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business with French and Economics and has completed a Master's degree in African Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
