Isabel Román Vega collaborated with UNRISD on the project Poverty Reduction and Policy Regimes (2007–2010) for which she wrote a paper on The Evolution of Inequality and Poverty over Thirty Years: From Success to Uncertainty, 1950–1980 as part of the Costa Rican country-level research team.
