Hyun-keun Kim
Former Visiting Fellow
Hyun-keun was a visiting research fellow from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
He assisted Ilcheong Yi from November to December 2010 with the "Making International Cooperation for Development Effective: Lessons from the Korean Experiences to the Developing Countries of the 21st Century” project.
Hyun-keun has been working for KOICA since 2007, and now works as a manager in the Planning and Budget Team. He carried out several aid projects as a project manager in the areas of primary education and vocational education training in the Asia and Africa regions and worked as an assistant representative of the KOICA office in Iraq (Erbil) in 2009.
Hyun-keun holds an MA in Social Development from the School of Development Studies, the University of East Anglia. His research interests include Poverty, Official Development Assistance and Aid Effectiveness.
