Stacey Mitchell
Former Intern
Stacey Mitchell joined UNRISD as an intern for the summer of 2005. She will be assisting K.B. Ghimire in the research area of Civil Society and Social Movements, specifically on his current project on anti-globalization movements.
Stacey is from Markham, a city just north of Toronto, in Canada. She completed her first year of Law School at the University of Windsor where she focuses on International and Human Rights Law and Women’s issues. Stacey holds an Honours Political Science degree from the University of Ottawa. She also completed her Masters in International Relations from the University of Western Ontario in August 2004. Her M.A. thesis was on the secular versus the Christian notions of forgiveness and reconciliation in the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
