Saraswathi Menon

Saraswathi Menon was Director of the Policy Division at UN Women (2011-2014) and Director of the Evaluation Office at UNDP (2003-2011).

She served on the UNRISD Board from July 2015 through June 2021.

Previously, Ms. Menon collaborated with UNRISD for the project on Gender-Related Research within the UN System. She participated in the UNRISD-UN Women conference in November 2012.

Ms. Menon's positions include UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Mongolia (2000-2003); Policy Analyst at the Human Development Report Office of UNDP (1989-1995); and Evaluation Specialist at the Central Evaluation Office of UNDP (1988-1989).
