Christy Campbell

Former Intern

Christy joined UNRISD in February 2009 as an intern to work with Katja Hujo and Elena Gaia on the Social Policy and Development Programme on Financing Social Policy and Social Policy and Migration.
Prior to joining UNRISD, Christy worked with American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, China in the Communication Department, collecting, publishing and disseminating information to both their member corporations as well as the Chinese and American governments. She also used to teach at Soochow University in Suzhou, China before working at the American Chamber of Commerce.

Christy holds a master degree in Social Policy and Development from the London School of Economics and her Masters dissertation was on Poverty Reduction through the Private Sector. Her main research interests included Corporate Social Responsibility and Poverty Reduction as well as Sustainable Agriculture, Food Security and Sustainable Livelihoods.
