Paola Villa Torres

Paola joined the Publications and Dissemination unit at UNRISD in July 2009 as an intern. She is currently assisting with updating the institute’s website, media outreach and information dissemination.
Before joining UNRISD, she worked as an assistant and project manager at a consulting firm specializing in communications' strategies and media relations. She was in charge of media outreach for international and financial events.

She also worked as an editorial assistant in a Foundation for childrens' education in Mexico City and as a director’s assistant at an advertising company.

Paola holds a Bachelors degree in Communications from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and is finishing a Masters of Arts in Communication and Media Sciences at the University of Geneva.
