Juan Zhao

Juan Zhao joined UNRISD in February 2007 and is working with Naren Prasad on various projects under two broad programme areas: Markets, Business and Regulation and Social Policy and Development. Specifically, she focuses on the issues related to the privatization of water supply and the social development of small states.

Juan Zhao holds a Masters degree in Development Studies (Research Training) from the Institute of Development Policy and Management (IDPM), University of Manchester, and a Foundation Diploma degree in International Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Her Masters dissertation explored economic impacts of internal migration on rural development in China.
