Former Collaborating Researcher
Xuejin Zuo presented an UNRISD Seminar on Pension Reform in China: Five Pillars of Transformation? At the time of his collaboration, he was Research Professor at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS), where he was previously Executive Vice President, and the Director of the Institute of Economics at the Academy. He holds an MA in economics from SASS and PhD in economics from the University of Pittsburgh. His research focuses on China’s population economics, social security programme reforms, and urban and regional development studies.
