Lalita Chanvongpaisarn

Former Collaborating Researcher

Lalita Chanvongpaisarn collaborated with UNRISD for the project Social Policy in Late Industrializers: Transforming the Developmental Welfare State in East Asia, 2002-2004. Lalita carried out research on social policy in Thailand in co-operation with Viroj Tangcharoensathien and Waranya Teokul. Using the case of Thailand’s health policy, the study would answer whether the Thai social system has moved toward a developmental and socially inclusive welfare state.
