Former Collaborating Researcher
Jian Wang was part of the research team for the project Migration and Health in China. At the time of his collaboration, he was professor in health economicss and director of health care management at the Center for Health Management and Policy at Shandong University, China.
Wang holds a MPH in Social Medicine from Shandong University, a MA in Health Economics from the University of the Philippines and a PhD in Economics from the University of Newcastle, Australia. He has worked with a number of international organizations and published articles in in Diabetic Medicine, the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, Health Policy Plan, the Journal of Asian Economics, and the International Journal of Healthcare Finance and Economics. His main field of research is health financing and the economics of chronic diseases in China.
