Nancy Folbre

Nancy Folbre is Professor of Economics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her research explores the paid and unpaid work of caring for others. Her most recent book is Valuing Children: Rethinking the Economics of the Family (Harvard, 2008).
She has written a background on "Economic Development and Time Devoted to Direct Unpaid Care Activities" for UNRISD together with Jayoung Yoon.
