Orna Rozen Blum joined UNRISD as an intern in July 2007 working with the Gender and Development team on two projects: Religion, Politics and Gender Equality, and The Political and Social Economy of Care .
Orna holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel and is completing her Masters degree in Human Rights and Democratization with the department of Law at the University of Malta on an EU funded initiative. Her Masters dissertation is focused on the concept of reconciliation as an alternative approach for constructing sustainable and lasting peaceful relations between societies.
