Mayowa Odusote

Mayowa Odusote joined UNRISD in January 2014 to assist Jenifer Freedman and Joannah Caborn with the current Communication Strategy. Her previous work experience includes spending 2 years’ working the private sector, working as an analyst for Accenture’s management consulting practice in London .

Mayowa recently completed her Master’s degree in Social Policy and Development at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences . Her thesis analysed the effectiveness of social policies in ending Modern Day Slavery in Mauritania. Mayowa’s other research interests include, Social Protection , Basic Education for Social Development and Gender Empowerment.
