Xiangzheng Deng

Xiangzheng Deng was part of the research team for the project Migration and Health in China (2011-2012). At the time of his collaboration, he was professor of Geography at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences and senior research fellow at the Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research is centered around the causes and dynamics of urban land expansion, the environmental and societal consequences of urbanization, the simulation and prediction of the dynamics of land systems, and the integration of data and models for documenting the land change science.
