Mariella Treffiletti

Mariella Treffiletti joined UNRISD as an intern in December 2007. She worked with the UNRISD programme on Civil Society and Social Movements with Research Co-ordinator, Kleber Ghimire. She focused on The World Social Forum and the organization of social movements.

At the time of her internship, Mariella was also completing a bachelor's degree in Political Science at the University of Geneva. In addition to her course work, she worked for the NGO "Nouvelle Planète" where she did volunteer work in Gabon and Uganda.
