Suzanne Bergeron

Former Collaborating Researcher

Suzanne Bergeron is Helen Mataya Graves Collegiate Professor of Women’s Studies and Social Sciences at the University of Michigan Dearborn. Her research traces out the implications of using efficiency arguments to achieve gender equity goals in development and post-conflict reconstruction contexts, and examines the possibilities for fostering community and solidarity economies in development. The Collaborating Researcher participated in the Call for Papers ""Implementing the Sustainable Development Goals: What Role for Social and Solidarity Economy?"" which was launched by the United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force on Social and Solidarity Economy (UNTFSSE) in 2018 and organized by UNRISD.
