Eleonor Faur

Former Collaborating Researcher

Eleonor Faur is a Sociologist and PhD. Candidate at FLACSO (Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales) in Argentina. She is the Liaison Officer for UNFPA in Argentina, and Researcher at the Institute of Advanced Studies on Social Sciences, University of San Martin. She teaches in post-graduate courses at the Universities of San Martin and Cuyo. She has been involved in research and programme coordination on Gender Issues and Public Policies since 1988, and published several articles and books relating to Gender, Human Rights and Public Policies in Argentina and Latin America.
For the UNRISD project on The Political and Social Economy of Care she has been part of the Argentinian research team.
