Yu Cheng

Former Collaborating Researcher

Yu Cheng was part of the research team for the project Migration and Health in China (2011-2012). At the time of her collaboration, she was Director of and Associate Professor at the Center for Medical Anthropology and Behavioral Health at Sun Yat-Sen University, Guangzhou, China. Simultanously, she was Associate Director of the Center for Migrant Health Policy and Associate Professor at the Anthropology Department at the same university.

Yu Cheng has a PhD from Sun Yat-sen University in Anthropology and has conducted postdoctoral research in Public Health at Yale University, New Haven, United States. She has published on a range of issues related to health and migration and migrants' health, including sex workers health behaviour, sexually transmittable diseases and reproductive health.
