Hanna Sjölund

Hanna joined UNRISD in June 2011 to assist Kiah Smith and Peter Utting in reviewing research on social dimensions of green economy for Rio +20, and Sarah Cook in exploring the links between climate change and social policy.
Prior to joining UNRISD, Hanna has worked as a policy officer for a European trade union federation in Brussels. She has also previously worked with a campaign for decent work and with the Fair Trade movement.

Hanna has just graduated from a masters programme in human ecology at Lund University where she wrote her final thesis on Fair Trade's ability to reduce producer vulnerability to climate change. She also holds a BA in European ethnology and French from Södertörn University.
